FLATBED ART SCANS

Umico can scan medium and small art using a flatbed scanner. This method is a more affordable option for smaller scans. We typically offer flatbed scanning for artwork up to and no larger than 22” x 30”.

Scans can be done at a range from 300 dpi (standard for replication at the same size) up to 1600 dpi. These scans can then be used to produce editions on canvas, prints on photo paper, and various other outputs.

300dpi is great for reproduction at the same size, we suggest increasing the dpi (resolution) depending on your intended use of the scan. If you would like to double the size of your artwork, we recommend a 600dpi scan.

Please do mention if you have a deadline that you need to hit.

Umico provides art scans and flat art photography. We produce high quality digital reproductions of your fine art, drawings or other flat art.

Our clients include everyone from painters trying to get digital versions of their work to established fine artists who trust us to match subtle colors and textures when reproducing their one of a kind art works. From the original oil painting, watercolor, or photograph, we produce a limited edition of nearly identical reproductions for sale in their galleries. 

We can print one copy, a numbered edition or we can print on demand for artists who do not want the expense and hassle of carrying a large inventory. We cater to artists of all stages.
